Authorized Gas Tester (AGT)
This course provides comprehensive training on the principles and practical protocols required to become an Authorized Gas Tester (AGT). Participants will learn how to operate, bump test, and calibrate various atmospheric monitoring instruments used to detect oxygen deficiency, flammable gases and vapors, and toxic contaminants such as Hydrogen Sulfide ($H_2S$) and Carbon Monoxide ($CO$). The curriculum covers standard testing sequences for confined space entry and hot work, interpreting Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) and Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) thresholds, and verifying safe atmospheric conditions prior to issuing work permits.
