Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

This course provides comprehensive training on the safe handling, storage, and management of hazardous substances in industrial, laboratory, and workplace environments. Participants will learn how to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), recognize chemical classification and hazard pictograms, and evaluate health risks associated with dusts, fumes, liquids, gases, and biological agents. The curriculum covers the hierarchy of hazard control, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) principles, proper selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response procedures for accidental exposure or chemical spills.
