Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) Safety

This course provides comprehensive training on the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study technique, a structured and systematic methodology utilized in the oil, gas, chemical, and process industries to evaluate engineering designs. Participants will learn how to form and lead multidisciplinary HAZOP teams, apply guide words (such as More, Less, None, Reverse) to process parameters, and analyze deviations from design intent. The curriculum covers risk ranking matrices, consequence and likelihood evaluations, root cause analysis, and the formulation of actionable recommendations and safeguards to mitigate operational risks effectively.
