Heat Stress Prevention and Heat Illness Response
This course provides comprehensive training on the physiological effects of working in hot environments, focusing on prevention strategies and rapid emergency response protocols. Participants will learn how to monitor environmental risk factors (such as temperature, humidity, and radiant heat), understand the body's thermoregulation mechanisms, and recognize the early warning signs of heat-related disorders including heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and life-threatening heatstroke. The curriculum emphasizes acclimatization programs, proper hydration guidelines, engineering and administrative controls, shade and rest break management, and effective first-aid interventions for heat emergencies.
