Heavy Equipment, Forklift and Crane Safety

This course provides essential safety training on the hazards and preventive measures associated with operating and working near heavy construction equipment, forklifts, and cranes. Participants will learn about the critical importance of pre-operational inspections, understanding load capacity limits, managing equipment blind spots, and recognizing swing radius hazards. The curriculum emphasizes preventing "struck-by" and "caught-in-between" incidents through the establishment of strict pedestrian exclusion zones, proper lifting and rigging awareness, and clear communication between operators and ground personnel.
