Machine Guarding

This course provides critical training on machine safeguarding principles to protect employees from severe injuries such as amputations, lacerations, and crushing injuries caused by moving machine parts. Participants will learn to identify common mechanical hazards at the point of operation, power transmission apparatuses, and operating controls (including in-running nip points and rotating parts). The curriculum covers the proper selection, usage, and maintenance of various machine guards and safety devices.
