Rigging Practices

This course provides foundational training on safe rigging practices and material handling techniques used across industrial, manufacturing, and construction sites. Participants will learn how to identify, inspect, and maintain various types of slings (wire rope, synthetic web, and chain), shackles, hooks, and hardware according to industry standards. The curriculum emphasizes proper hitch configurations, sling angle tension factors, pre-lift inspection protocols, and effective communication through standard crane hand signals to ensure absolute safety during lifting operations.
