Workzone Safety

This course provides critical safety training for personnel operating in or near temporary traffic control zones, roadwork sites, and active vehicle pathways. Participants will learn how to recognize and mitigate the severe risks associated with moving civilian vehicles, heavy construction equipment, and distracted drivers. The curriculum covers the fundamental components of a Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) zone, the critical requirements for wearing proper High-Visibility Safety Apparel (HVSA), basic flagging awareness, and the vital role of advance warning signs, barricades, and buffer spaces in preventing deadly struck-by incidents.
